Enigmatic, yet also somewhat prim, Rebecca possesses a gothic strangeness that is almost Victorian. Still intimate with the unseen realms, nevertheless her sanity has not gone unscathed. She battles her own inner demons, and is reluctant to once more wade back into these dark waters. From the opening voice over to the final shot, this starring role commands the film. It is her story. The film is centered around Rebecca sharing her psychic episodes to a detective working the murders, trying to convince him to listen. But he has his own reasons for meeting with her, and by the film's end, his skepticism -- and her safety -- will be badly shaken.
