Dracula |Male |Any Ethnicity |Age: 18–99 |Role Type: Principal
The theatrical, ego-driven host of the Barbershop of Horrors. Dignified, controlling, and increasingly exasperated as his planned production falls apart. Strong comic timing, commanding stage presence, and the ability to communicate volumes with a long-suffering look are essential. Primarily seeking a male-presenting actor. Singing and movement involved; vocal ability a bonus.
Dr. Frankenstein |Female |Any Ethnicity |Age: 18–99 |Role Type: Principal
A brilliant, disorganized scientist with boundless energy and little awareness of the chaos she creates. Zany, physically expressive, spotlight-driven, seeking an actor comfortable with broad comedy, fast-paced dialogue, and physical humor. Female-presenting actor preferred but casting is flexible. Singing and movement involved; vocal ability a bonus.
Frankie |Any Gender |Any Ethnicity |Age: 18–99 |Role Type: Supporting
Dr. Frankenstein’s newly created monster. Sweet, caring, naïve, optimistic, and becomes the unexpected star without trying to steal the spotlight. Requires strong movement ability, expressive physical storytelling, warmth, and comic instincts. Primarily seeking a female-presenting actor. Singing and movement involved; vocal ability a bonus.
