STW Script Consultancy, partnered with Southern Fried Filmworks, seeks an actor for a paid developmental workshop in NYC of COMPROMISE(D), written by S Tyrone Williams and co-directed by Benton Greene and S Tyrone Williams. COMPROMISE(D) is a 2-person legal stage drama, set in St. Louis in 1835. It is inspired by the true story of John Berry Meachum, a free black man and target of a misdirected lawsuit who must decide whether to compromise his core beliefs to win the case when his best line of defense becomes the argument of slavery. The story is told in three parts, with a runtime of 95 minutes with no intermission.
