The Colonial Players - https://thecolonialplayers.org/auditions/when-the-hurlyburly-s-done-2026DIRECTOR’S NOTES: At the heart of When the Hurlyburly’s Done, is the belief that a dedicated group of artists has the power to create and thrive, even amidst the tragedy of war. The characters in the play (Ukrainian actors), focus on bringing classic dramas to life for their audiences, despite the turmoil/danger that surrounds them. Although the play takes place over 100 years ago, modern day Ukraine continues to fight for its freedom. Our production honors the resilience of the people of Ukraine, and their right to independence.
