The Opera Orlando Studio Artists program is where emerging singers gain the experience, training, and performance opportunities needed to launch their professional careers. Studio Artists spend a full season in residence — covering MainStage roles, performing alongside principals, working with guest artists in masterclass settings, and receiving training in acting, movement, and vocal technique. Beyond the stage, Studio Artists engage directly with the Central Florida community through in-school programs, retirement center concerts, and outreach events across the region. Opera Orlando is currently accepting applications for its 2027-28 Studio Artists program. The season will run from September 2027 through May 2028 and will include works by Mozart, Offenbach, and Gounod. Complete applications and all materials are due by November 2, 2026. Finalists will be shortlisted and notified via email to schedule an additional in-person audition/interview to be scheduled in December.
