Little Shop of Horrors is a darkly comic sci-fi musical about Seymour Krelborn, a meek flower shop employee who discovers a mysterious plant with an unusual appetite. As the plant brings Seymour increasing attention and success, its demands become increasingly dangerous. The musical blends comedy, horror, romance, and R&B-inspired music. Little Shop of Horrors is a dark comedy musical about Seymour, a shy flower shop employee who discovers a strange plant that changes his life with increasingly dangerous consequences. The show combines comedy, horror, romance, and Motown and rock inspired music.

This production is being produced by The White Theatre at The J and is a volunteer-based production. Volunteers will receive a modest stipend and membership to The J Campus for their time in the cast!

This audition will include a vocal portion only. Please prepare 1 minute or around 32 bars of a song and bring sheet music with a clearly noted audition cut. An accompanist will be provided. No in-person tracks or acapella auditions will be allowed. *Those who are sending a video audition may use a track.

NOTE Submit your resume to casting notices within the initial 24 hour window. Promptness often translates to increased visibility.

Auditions: Sunday, November 15th from 6pm-10pm. Singing Sessions Only, there will not be a Monologue or Dance portion for this Audition
Callbacks: Monday, November 16th from 6pm-9pm.
