Nearly Neighbors is conducting a nationwide open call for the role of Rachel in an upcoming developmental reading of a new two-person chamber musical by Joshua Vranas. The selected actor will perform opposite Tony Award nominee Jenn Colella ("Come From Away," "Suffs"). About The Musical: Nearly Neighbors is an original two-person musical following two women who live across from one another in Hell’s Kitchen. Over the course of a year, their opposing balconies become the setting for an unexpected relationship as they navigate ambition, grief, loneliness, identity, and what it means to make a home in New York City. We are intentionally conducting an open search for Rachel and strongly encourage submissions from performers who may not have traditional industry access or representation.
